Au Train Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Very pretty scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Gladstone Ski Park, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a delightful local destination. Get yourself into a kayak       and hit Au Train River, and don't leave Au Train Lake without first going for a hike along the Chatham Ski Trail. Be careful coming to Au Train Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and great hiking is available along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Some nearby water includes Au Train River, and a journey to Buck Bay is always a magnificent                  idea. This lake is so wonderful. A gorgeous lake like Paulson Lake close to Au Train Lake is a wonderful site to explore, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Munising is a tremendous choice. Through the summer months here at Au Train Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's while Au Train Lake night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
