Atchel Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls through September; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Little Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and Comfort Suites Lakeside is a great place to get some rest. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Atchel Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
