The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Arvid is close to the national average; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. You could also visit Gravel Lake since you're here at Lake Arvid; it's close by, and a quick       journey to West Branch Peshekee River is absolutely a nice idea. Lake Arvid is not the only place close by, Northwestern Lake is a close by lake; a trip to Lake Arvid wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Dee Lundeen Falls. Peshekee River is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Lake Arvid; why not camp at Michigamme Shores Campground while you're here at Lake Arvid.
