     Camping is available at Timber Ridge RV and Recreation Resort, as expected you could also pop by Wethea Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. During the warm months at Arbutus Lake highs are commonly in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Arbutus Lake tend to be in the 10's. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Arbutus  
   Lake. Boardman River is a tremendous whitewater spot close to Arbutus Lake. You're sure to bump into some great folks from Traverse City here, and if you need a place to stay Traverse Bay Inn is a great choice.
The yearly rain here at Arbutus Lake is about average; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Perch Lake, and why not camp at Yogi
 
               Bear's Jellystone Camp since you're here at Arbutus Lake. A great nearby hotel is North Shore Inn; unsurprisingly East Creek flows through this vicinity.
