     The view of lovely Burnt Mountain near Lake Ann is delightful, and if you came for an overnight stay Michigamme Shores Campground is a magnificent place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Rush Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Salmon Trout River. Through the days of summer at Lake Ann highs are usually in the 70's while night lows are generally in the 50's. During the winter highs are generally  
   in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Ann temperatures plunge to the 0's.
If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Huron River - East Br., and Best Western Country Inn is a good place to get some rest. From a rainfall point of view Lake Ann is a quite common location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and April is the month with the least moisture. While you're here
 
               at Lake Ann, you could also go to scenic Mountain Lake, and don't leave Lake Ann without first checking out Tokiahok Head.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Ann. Visit Cedar Creek since you're here at Lake Ann, and why not stop at Dudley Point also since you're here.
