The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Ann is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summer at Lake Ann comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the       20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Ann. Skiing at Crystal Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and lots of folks from Traverse City come here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a beautiful lake called Sanford Lake near Lake Ann; dry warm beds await you at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Homestead while you're here, and get your pulse rate up on the fine whitewater                  of Boardman River. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Lake Ann, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A pleasant spot to camp here at Lake Ann is Cycle-Moore; a golf course nearby is Mistwood Golf Course.
