There's so much to do here at Anderson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Gill Lake Campground is a good spot for that. If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Anderson Lake. Anderson Lake is not the only place close by, Colby Lake is a close by lake. The yearly rain here at Anderson Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain       while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Anderson Lake you can take a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Meceola Country Club. At Anderson Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Anderson Lake through the                  winter frequently dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Anderson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Horsehead Lake Campground, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Big Rapids.
