Anderson Lake is a good site of normal rain; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. Throughout the summertime here at Anderson Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Anderson Lake temperatures       descend to the 0's. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Escanaba River. This lake is so wonderful. Anderson Lake is a location with many visitors from Marquette, and do take a hike on the Holyoke Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Escanaba River - Middle Branch offers some splendid whitewater, and you can stay the night at Gitche Gumee Campground and RV. While you're here at Anderson Lake, you could                  also visit stunning Flacks Lakes; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Marquette. Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you need a site to stay Marquette-Days Inn is a delightful choice. This place, Anderson Lake, it truly has so much outdoors fun stuff.
