And that's not all you can do here at Amber Lake. High temperatures at Amber Lake through the warm months are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Amber Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Ontonagon River - South Branch for all you adrenaline people; you can       hit the slopes at Porcupine Mountain close by. There's so much to do here at Amber Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Robbins Pond Campground is a delightful site for that, and get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Go for a hike on the North Country National Scenic Trail, and if you came to camp Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area is a tremendous place to do that. After a long day outdoors                  Americinn - Silver City, Mi is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and for you golfers we recommend close by Perttu's Big Spruce Golf Course.
