Sure, Meadow Lake is in the vicinity; SUPER 8 MOTEL - BROOKLYN is a great spot to get some rest. Wolf Lake is a nice lake next to Allen Lake, and Allen Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Happy Valley Camp Ground is a splendid local campground. From a rain point of view Allen Lake is a pretty normal place; through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. Allen Lake is not far at all from       Adrian, and dry warm beds await you at Carlton Lodge - Adrian. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Allen Lake and you like golf, you can visit Greenbriar Golf Course, and camping at Greenbriar Golf Course is always a glorious experience. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Allen Lake. All through the summer at Allen Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's.
