Lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Cedar Lake in close proximity to Lake Alice, and Michigamme Shores Campground is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Peshekee River, and Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a fine       location to get some rest. During the summer highs here at Lake Alice reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lake Alice dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
