Alger Lake is a good site of normal rain; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. At Alger Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with       overnight lows in the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Alger Lake descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Alger Lake, you could also visit beautiful Pelican Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Au Sable Point Campground is a splendid site to camp.
