There are other places here than Aleck Lake, for example Cook Lake; you can hit the slopes at Gladstone Ski Park in close proximity. For the period of the days of summer highs here at Aleck Lake reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs       in the 20's; overnight lows during the winter for Aleck Lake tend to be in the 0's. From a rain point of view Aleck Lake is a reasonably common site; September is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. So much entertaining stuff to do at Aleck Lake, so little time. A good close by hotel is Days Inn Munising, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail. There are some tremendous whitewater                  spots on Au Train River, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The panoramas at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will blow your mind, and the Chatham Ski Trail is a perfect hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Aleck Lake, you'll come across Little Aleck Lake which is a beautiful lake.
