Ackerman Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Ackerman Lake has it all. Hiking along the Valley Spur Ski Trail is delightful fun; you can stay the night at Hovey Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Gladstone Ski Park is nice, and do take a hike on the Chatham Ski Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Addis Lakes Ski Trail, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Munising - Days Inn.
