Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at 8 Lake. Cedar Motor Inn is a good site to get some rest, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Holyoke Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to 8 Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 20's, and after the       sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at 8 Lake fall into the 0's. The yearly rain here at 8 Lake is about average; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February. If you need a place to stay Best Western Country Inn is a fine choice; 8 Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Michigamme Shores Campground is a great local campground. 2 Lake is a nice lake close to 8 Lake, and there are plenty of                  folks from Marquette here. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not go to 3 Lake near 8 Lake.
