What a nice lake Youngs Pond is. Get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Tannery Brook River, and at Youngs Pond you can see Burnt Hub Hill. Be careful coming to Youngs Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Days Inn is a good location to get some rest, and on a delightful day you can stop by Dunn Beach. You can run the rapids of Union River near Youngs Pond, and the Peaked Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. At Youngs Pond through the summertime highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's, and winter nights come
with lows in the 0's to Youngs Pond. Nearby Junk of Pork Rock is a glorious place to go if you're at Youngs Pond, and you can stay the night at Parks Pond Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Jesse Beach is close to Youngs Pond
and is a gorgeous beach to take a look at, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Bald Mountain Trail.
If you need a place to stay White Birches Country Club is a delightful choice. There's so much to do here at
Youngs Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Branch Lake Camping Area is a nice place for that. Youngs Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
