Aker Brook is a great place to stop at, and why not take a look at Youngs Lake Dam while you're here. There's whitewater on B Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a great nearby hotel is Shiretown Motor Inn. There's delightful hiking along the Pierce Tote Road. There's so much to do here at Youngs       Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Neil E Michaud Campground is a nice place for that. Any time is a nice time at Youngs Lake if you go for the outdoors. A lake nearby is Westfield Lake, and if you need a place to stay Crown Park Inn is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Really great skiing awaits you at Bigrock; Water District Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. During the summer months here at Youngs Lake, high                  temperatures generally reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Youngs Lake. Youngs Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
