Go for a hike on the Bemis Trail, and skiing at Black Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do. All through the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Yorks Logan. of the year is February. Do stop by Long Logan in close proximity to Yorks Logan, it's a beautiful lake; Yorks Logan is a great place to visit for more than one day, Black Brook Cove Campground is a great place to camp nearby.

 | 14 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
