York Ponds is a good site of normal precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. A good place to camp here at York Ponds is Shady Acres RV and Campgrounds, and a charming lake like Northern Pond is a magnificent place to take a look at. Be careful coming to York Ponds, you might not ever wanna go home again. Camping is available at       Moose Pond Campground; since you're here you can play some golf at Streamside Golf Course. The top of Chicks Hill is easily spotted from York Ponds, and swamps can be such attention-grabbing spots, visit Gilmore Meadows while you're here at York Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Belfast Harbor Inn is a fine choice; paddling on Marsh Stream is so much fun. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to York Ponds. Through the                  moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to York Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. Do have a look at Lily Pond near York Ponds, it's a picturesque lake, and why not a little side trip to Jordan Brook.
