     York Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is abundant here in the White Mountains. York Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Mollidgewock Campground is a good local campground, and Bear has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot close by. A nice close by hotel is Grand Summit Resort Sunday River, and getting to Black Brook from York Pond is uncomplicated.
This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Mount
 
   Abram are so inviting nobody can resist; on a great day you can take a hike along the Old Speck Mountain Trail. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the White Mountains. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Sunday River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby North Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Near York Pond you come across the Speck Pond Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and a delightful place to
 
               camp here at York Pond is Pleasant River Campground. But wait, there's more to do in close proximity to York Pond. Lakes? Sure, Speck Pond is in close proximity, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Swift Cambridge River. The annual rainfall here at York Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest of the months is February.
If you need a spot to stay Sunday River Ski and Golf Resort is a great choice, and the Table Rock Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at York Pond get into the 70's; the overnight is slightly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for York Pond.
