You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Abram if you're here, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Old Speck Mountain Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the White Mountains. Camping is available at Mollidgewock Campground; Swift Cambridge River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. That       right there is a lot of cool things already but it goes on, the White Mountains has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Pleasant River Campground is a delightful place to camp; dry warm beds await you at Sunday River. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in close proximity to York Pond. If you need a site to stay Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a fine choice, and the Table Rock                  Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without some skiing at Sunday River, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Speck Pond Trail. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Bear, and why not have a look at close by Black Brook if you're here at York Pond. All through the days of summer at York Pond highs are commonly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures at York Pond dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. The annual rainfall here at York Pond is about average; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
