    Many people like to go to Worthley Pond. Paddling on Sandy River is so much fun, and the snow is delightful at Black Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a magnificent choice, and if you came to camp Camp Wekeela is a magnificent place to do that. A quick spree to Thomas Brook right next door to Worthley Pond is a splendid idea. There's so much to do here at Worthley Pond that you need to camp here for a while,  
   Honey Run Beach and Campgrounds is a fine location for that.
Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Nezinscot River - West Branch; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Lost Valley is reasonably near. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Mud Pond is a lake in close proximity, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Worthley Pond; Chimney Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always
 
               stop by nearby Worthley Pond, and a splendid close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites.
For the period of the long summer days at Worthley Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Worthley Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This is a popular spot for people from Lewiston-Auburn. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll fancy Worthley Pond. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a splendid sight of Browns Mountain from Worthley Pond, and brilliant hiking is available along the Brook Trail.
The high level of rainfall makes Worthley Pond a reasonably wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.
