A day on the slopes of Big Squaw is just what you need, and you can go for a hike on the Telephone Trail. From a rainfall point of view Woodman Pond is a reasonably typical location; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Having a good time at Woodman Pond is painless. Whitewater       paddling is good on Smith Brook. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Woodman Pond; Old Telos Tote Road is a tremendous local trail, and if you get bored of Woodman Pond you could also pop by nearby Kyle Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Ellis Brook is so much fun, and tremendous hiking is available along the Carry Trail. For the duration of the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Woodman Pond. Throughout the dark hours of summer                  temperatures dip down into the 50's.
