     St. Croix River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and Chet's Camps is a pleasant local campground. The peak of Chapman Mountain can be made out from Woodland Flowage, and while you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Saint Croix River Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Wapsaconhagan Brook if you're here at Woodland Flowage, and Ryan Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. At Woodland Flowage through the summer highs are  
   in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while Woodland Flowage night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's.
Cobscook Bay State Park is a great campground nearby, and there's always Woodland Dam to have a look at next to Woodland Flowage. All the outdoors cool stuff next to Woodland Flowage will keep you coming back time and again. Don't miss out

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
