     Woodland Flowage is a nice lake to visit. Chet's Camps is a great campground nearby. During the months of summer at Woodland Flowage highs are typically in the 70's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows through the wintertime for Woodland Flowage tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cobscook Bay State Park, and in case you don’t have a problem  
   getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River.
Woodland Flowage typically gets a great deal of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while June is regularly the driest month. The summit of Chapman Mountain can be seen from Woodland Flowage; an interesting thing to pop by near Woodland Flowage is Woodland Dam. Wapsaconhagan Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and if you have time to spare, Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a national park worth taking a look at.
