The Chimney Trail is a great hiking trail near Witham Pond, and Witham Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Black Brook Cove Campground is a great local campground. Witham Pond truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. You can run the rapids of Sandy River near Witham Pond, and there is a glorious hiking trail nearby called the Brook Trail. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for       a glorious time. The summits of the Blue Mountains add much beauty to the vicinity around Witham Pond, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. From Witham Pond you get a good sight of Blue Mountains, and a great location to camp here at Witham Pond is Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground. Sandy River - South Branch is a wonderful whitewater spot next to Witham Pond, and Saddleback is a very popular                  ski area in the neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay The Perennial Inn is a pleasant choice. Be careful coming to the White Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Head up to Black Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; do stop by Haley Pond, it's a striking lake. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Witham Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
