    Beautiful Witham Bog has much to offer visitors. The snow is good at Saddleback, and Witham Bog is not the only spot close by, Little Swift River Pond is a close by lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Get drenched paddling on Sandy River; why not camp at Black Brook Cove Campground if you're here at Witham Bog.
Summertime at Witham Bog comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime
 
   lows are typically in the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows throughout the winter for Witham Bog tend to be in the-10's. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Witham Bog called the Piazza Rock Trail, and soar down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch in a kayak. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more cool stuff to do in the White Mountains. At Witham Bog you can see Blue Mountains; the governing  
               trait in the region is the Blue Mountains.
This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Black Mountain is in close proximity to Witham Bog, and a lake nearby is Swift River Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Witham Bog; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Brook Trail; after a long day outdoors The Perennial Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Man, is there lots of cool stuff to do near Witham Bog. Going for a hike on the Chimney Trail is always a perfect adventure, and Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a fine local campground.

CENTRAL RESERVATION AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
A new Inntopia Central Reservation and Packaging System will allow Saddleback to book lodging, Ski & Stay and other packages at the lodges in the town of Rangeley as well as the condominiums at the mountain.
NEW RENTAL AND RETAIL SHOPS
Saddleback will now operate the rental and retail shops in the base lodge that were previously operated by a lessee. This season the rental shop will have a new fleet of rental skis, boards, boots, bindings and poles. The retail shop will have a new inventory of clothing and accessories.

I used to climb up as a kid, and I still love it. It is a fairly easy hike, but worth it at the end. There is one small brook crossing, but other then that, it is a great place to take kids young and old....

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
