This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Witham Bog, you can go for a hike along the Brook Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn. Witham Bog is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Dead River - South Branch for all you adrenaline people, and the panorama of picturesque Blue Mountains is tremendous. A range like the Blue Mountains       here at Witham Bog is always beautiful; Black Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff. All the outdoors cool stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Piazza Rock Trail, and Haley Pond is a glorious lake nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sandy River. There's so much to do here at                  Witham Bog that you need to camp here for a while, Black Brook Cove Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Witham Bog gets a common amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is usually the driest month. If you came to camp Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a good spot to do that, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Saddleback. What a place this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Witham Bog you can take a hike along the Chimney Trail, and a lovely lake like Long Pond is a glorious spot to take a look at. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Witham Bog. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's.
