The Piazza Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you came for an overnight stay Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is a splendid location to camp. Not far from Winslow Pond, you'll locate Lufkin Pond which is a scenic lake; hey, Gotta ski right? Saddleback is a great site to do that. would winter be without some skiing at Sugarloaf USA. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Winslow Pond. Saddleback Stream is a stream that you may run into while you're here; camping is available at Dummer's Beach.
Throughout the summertime months highs here at Winslow Pond get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows at Winslow Pond through the wintertime typically plunge into the-10's.

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
