    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Winslow Pond. Hiking along the Brook Trail is delightful fun, and Winslow Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Dummer's Beach is a wonderful local campground. At Winslow Pond throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here  
   at Winslow Pond.
Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Winslow Pond. Head up to Sugarloaf USA and strap some skis to your feet, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River - South Branch. Do have a look at Lufkin Pond close to Winslow Pond, it's a pretty lake, and Saddleback Stream is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake
 
               like Stetson Pond near Winslow Pond is a magnificent place to check out, and Sandy River is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
Camping at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground is always a tremendous experience; if you need a site to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a good choice. Winslow Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. Take a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail, and here at Winslow Pond you can see Beech Hill.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Chimney Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Saddleback is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
