Do stop by Wilson Pond while you're in this part of Maine. At Wilson Pond Dam next to Wilson Pond there are some exciting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Wilson Pond and you like golf, you can have a look at Wilson Lake Country Club, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wilson Stream. you need to camp here for a while, Nor 40 Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. If you get bored of Wilson Pond, you could also
have a look at close by Varnum Pond, and get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Temple Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson Lake Inn; the view of Walker Hill is charming. All the
water falling down from the sky makes Wilson Pond a wet location; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
