A large amount of rainfall falls at Williams Pond; November is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Near Williams Pond you stumble on the Lead Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail; one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Williams Pond is Blackcap       Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Sea Breeze Motel is a tremendous choice, and do explore Middle Allen Pond, it's a wonderful lake. If you come at the right time of year, Narraguagus River offers some good whitewater; camping is available at Eastbrook Campground. There are some great whitewater spots on Union River - East Branch, and a picturesque lake like Lower Allen Pond is a tremendous location to have a look at. Why not                  camp at Maple Grove Campground if you're here at Williams Pond; swamps are out of the ordinary sites and Humpback Bog near Williams Pond is no exception. During the summertime at Williams Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's; the overnight is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Williams Pond fall into the 0's.
