Wilcox Pond is a wet location that gets a lot of rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. One of the best things about Wilcox Pond is its proximity to Goose       Rocks Beach, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Saco River. Joy Hill is pretty and can be spotted from Wilcox Pond, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Biddeford is a great site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Biddeford/Saco, and a great site to camp here at Wilcox Pond is Homestead By The River Family Campground. So much fun stuff next to Wilcox Pond, absolutely fantastic.                  Having a perfect time at Wilcox Pond is painless. If you're here at Wilcox Pond, you could have a look at Thacher Brook, and do visit Saco River Reservoir, it's a charming lake. Wilcox Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Silver Springs Campground is a great local campground, and Saco River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could go to. During the days of summer highs here at Wilcox Pond reach the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's while Wilcox Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
