A glorious view of striking Chandler Parker Mountain is available from Wight Pond; glorious hiking is available along the Bald Mountain Trail. Summertime highs at Wight Pond typically tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes       with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Wight Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Fort Knox Inn; you'll hit upon a scenic lake called Pierce Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Wight Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Pines Campground is a brilliant location for that, and there are swamps here too, Camp Stream Bog is close by. Why not visit close by McCaslin Stream while you're here                  at Wight Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Turtle Pond close to Wight Pond. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Wight Pond has to offer, you can camp at Balsam Cove Campground. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Wight Pond will keep you coming back over and over. Don't leave Wight Pond without first going for a hike along the Blue Hill Trail, and get soaked paddling on Blue Hill Falls. A normal amount of rain falls here at Wight Pond; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February.
