     The beauty of Wight Pond attracts many people from all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Wight Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Wight Pond are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Camp Stream Bog are fun to explore, and there are great spots to look at along the Bald Mountain Trail.  
   If you need a place to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a pleasant choice; you should definitely explore The Bluffs while you're here.
You definitely should like Wight Pond. While you're here at Wight Pond, you could also stop by gorgeous Turtle Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Wight Pond has to offer, you can camp at Whispering Pines Campground. There's whitewater on Blue Hill Falls for all you adrenaline rush seekers; a great close
 
               by hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. McCaslin Stream flows through this area, and if the weather is delightful, you acquire a nice vista of Chandler Parker Mountain from Wight Pond.
The yearly precipitation here at Wight Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is generally November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. Go for a hike on the Old Cove Trail. Wight Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Balsam Cove Campground is a good place to camp nearby; Pierce Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Narramissic River; going for a hike on the Blue Hill Trail is always a great adventure.
