This lake is so wonderful. Day Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth visiting, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saco River. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Wiggins Pond is unbeatable! There are other sites here than Wiggins Pond, for example Brimstone       Pond, and Great Works River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Dutch Elm Golf Course, and you can stay the night at Stadig Campground. Wiggins Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while September is typically the driest month. Wiggins Pond is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Grove Campground is a fine place to                  camp nearby. Lakes? Sure, Davis Pond is in close proximity. A brilliant beach close to Wiggins Pond is Crescent Surf; if you like swamps you're in luck, Punky Swamp is right nearby. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Kennebunk is a tremendous site to spend a night or two; a day at Parsons Beach is time well spent. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Wiggins Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
