Do stop by Whitney Brook while you're in this part of Maine. An average amount of rain falls at Whitney Brook; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon Brook. Throughout the warm months at Whitney Brook temperatures are regularly in the 70's,
and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and night lows at Whitney Brook during the wintertime frequently plunge into the-10's.
