Camping is available at Neil E Michaud Campground; Shiretown Motor Inn is a great location to get some rest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Whitehead Lake. One of the principal traits of the surroundings of Whitehead Lake is Packard Hill; Mars Hill Country Club is a great golf course nearby. This       lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Whitehead Lake, for example Prestile Stream; get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of B Stream. Why not have a look at Robinson Dam if you're here, and you can run the rapids of Aroostook River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Whitehead Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Pierce Tote Road, and North Branch Three Brooks is one of the streams nearby                  that might be worth a visit. The amount of rain that falls at Whitehead Lake is close to the national average; during July this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Whitehead Lake; Sweets Trail is a tremendous local trail, and Bigrock has delightful slopes and a friendly staff. All through the summer highs here at Whitehead Lake reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows at Whitehead Lake all through the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's.
