Getting to North Branch Three Brooks from Whitehead Lake is simple; at Whitehead Lake you can spot Packard Hill. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Bigrock is just what you need, and a charming lake like Packard Lake is a fine location to stop at. Float down the rapids of Aroostook River in a kayak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Kennedy Tote Road. Man, is       there lots of fun things to do right next door to Whitehead Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Prestile Stream next to Whitehead Lake, and camping at Neil E Michaud Campground is always a brilliant experience. There's always Robinson Dam to go to in the vicinity of Whitehead Lake, and since you're here you can play some golf at Mars Hill Country Club. Paddling on B Stream is so much fun; if you came                  to camp Wilde Pines Campground is a good site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn, and splendid hiking is available along the Sweets Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Whitehead Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Whitehead Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Whitehead Lake; Pierce Tote Road is a great local trail; if you need a place to stay Scottish Inns Houlton is a tremendous choice.
