There are great places to explore along the Old Dam Tote Road, and whitewater paddling is perfect on Mattawamkeag River - East Branch. White Lake gets a common amount of rain; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest of the months is February. There's just no way anybody can get bored       here at White Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn; going for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to White Lake called the Kennedy Tote Road, and almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Roach Pond is just a very short distance away. You'll need more than a day to explore everything White Lake has to offer, you can camp                  at Birch Point Lodge Campgrounds. For the duration of the months of summer at White Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows through the wintertime for White Lake tend to be in the-10's.
