If you came for an overnight stay Umcolcus Sporting Camps is a delightful spot to camp, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Horseback Pond is just a very short distance away. Have a great hiking adventure along the Matagamon Tote Road; Batch Brook is right next door to White Horse Lake       and is always a bliss to go to. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Seboeis Deadwater if you're here at White Horse Lake; it's close by; White Horse Lake is right by the Snowshoe Lake Road. This lake is so wonderful. Katahdin Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Jerry Pond Tote Road.
