And that's not all you can do here at Wethern Pond. There are other places here than Wethern Pond, for example North Branch Dead River Reservoir, and Cupsuptic River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Wethern Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month       is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Black Arrow Lodge; close by you stumble on the Bigelow Range Trail which is a great hiking trail. Go for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail; lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Mud Pond. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Wethern Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. All through the wintertime                  highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Wethern Pond dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is in the neighborhood of Wethern Pond, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dead River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Bradbury Brook is a brilliant local stream, and going for a hike on the Fire Warden Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
