Summer brings highs in the 80's to Western Lake while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Western Lake tend to be in the 0's. Why not camp at Hilltop Campground since you're here at Western Lake, and here at Western Lake you can spot Trimble Mountain. St. Croix River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and don't miss out       on a visit to Roosevelt Campobello International Park since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a splendid location to camp, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Moneymaker Lake is just a very short distance away. A good deal of rainfall falls at Western Lake; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; July is when it's the driest. This is                  no place for people who don’t like to have a good time.
