Hobart Stream is a fine whitewater spot near Western Lake; Western Lake is not the only place close by, Roaring Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Roosevelt Campobello International Park is one of the destinations right next door to Western Lake that are splendid to go to, and do stop by Mill Dam while you're here. Western Lake regularly gets a good deal of rain; most of the       rain falls all through November, and the driest month is July. On a gorgeous day you obtain a view of Estey Mountain from Western Lake, and of course Cranberry Brook is a striking stream that is worth stopping at. For the duration of the summer months at Western Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime                  at Western Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. A splendid site to camp here at Western Lake is Cobscook Bay State Park. You are close to Deep Cove while you're here at Western Lake; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Orange River. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Western Lake has it all.
