Float down the rapids of Millinocket Stream in a kayak, and don't leave West Sawtelle Pond without first going for a hike along the Matagamon Tote Road. If you come at the right time of year, Munsungan Stream offers some great whitewater,       and hiking is a popular thing to do around West Sawtelle Pond; Munsungan Lake Tote Road is a splendid local trail.
