Summer brings highs in the 70's to West Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to West Lake. You truly should like West Lake. Looking for something close to West       Lake? Nicatous Lake is in close proximity, and you can go for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Maple Grove Campground is a fine location to camp; don't forget to visit Porter Cove if you're here. Float down the rapids of Nicatous Stream in a kayak, and don't leave West Lake without first going for a hike along the Lead Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes West Lake a quite wet site;                  the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. West Lake is not the only site nearby, Abarngamook Lake is a nearby lake, and Nicatous Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful.
