West Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Just can't get enough of West Lake. West Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Neil E Michaud Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at West Lake you can take a hike along the Sweets Trail, and the skiing at Bigrock is pleasant.       Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Pierce Tote Road, and Squa Pan Stream has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by. At West Lake you can observe Nighthawk Mountain, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix Stream. Through the summer at West Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually                  in the 20's while West Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's. Take a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road.
