Camping is available at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park; since you're here you can take a hike along the Hockomock Nature Trail. West Harbor Pond is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture. For you golfers we recommend close by Boothbay Country Club, and camping at Gray Homestead Camping is always a great experience.

This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water close by flows, like Campbell Creek, and get dripping wet paddling on Damariscotta River. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. You are right next
door to Boothbay Harbor if you're here at West Harbor Pond, and Pig Island Ledge is also a good place to explore.
All through the warmest time of the year at West Harbor Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun
is down it drops down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while West Harbor Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Lakeview Inn is a good location to get some rest, and the scenery at West Harbor Pond Dam is scenic.
