This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Dawn Marie Beach, and there are some good whitewater spots on Machias River. If you came for an overnight stay Keenes Lake Camping Grounds is a good site to camp, and don't leave West Grand Lake without first paying       a visit to Big Falls. West Grand Lake mostly gets lots of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. For the period of the days of summer highs here at West Grand Lake get into the 70's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for West Grand Lake.
