You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Cleveland Pond is one of those close by, and don't leave Wells Pond without first going for a hike along the Arnold Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Wells Pond. The slopes of Balsams Wilderness are so inviting noone       can resist, and Indian Cove is very near and is a great site to pop by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wells Pond while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Wells Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's. Otter Pond is nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Wells Pond; Old Magalloway                  Trail is a delightful local trail. A lot of rainfall falls at Wells Pond; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Deer Mountain Campground is a nice place to do that, and great hiking is available along the Milrose Trail.
