If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Water District Reservoir. At Water District Reservoir all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Water District Reservoir. of the year is February. Any time is a pleasant time at Water District Reservoir if you have a thing about the outdoors. After a long day outdoors Shiretown Motor Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two, and in case you don’t
mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Aroostook River. Camping is available at Neil E Michaud Campground; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Sweets Trail. Crown Park Inn is a great site
to get some rest, and an interesting thing to check out right next door to Water District Reservoir is Water District Reservoir Dam. This lake is so wonderful.
