Go to Wards Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. White Mountain Hotel and Resort is a fine location to get some rest, and since you're here, you could also pop by delightful Haley Pond. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the White Mountains. Not far from Wards Pond you get some splendid water scenery at Fryeburg Dam, and if you came to camp Zen Farm RV Resort

| | is a fine spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of beautiful Bald Peak near Wards Pond is pleasant, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Ossipee River. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Weeks Brook Trail, and the snow is nice at King Pine. September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Wards Pond. Get covered with water paddling on Ossipee River. A visit to Wards Pond wouldn't be complete without
taking a look at Swans Falls, and camping at Fiddlehead Campground is always a brilliant experience. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wards Pond; Kearsarge Trail is a good local trail, and if you need
a site to stay Oxford House Inn is a great choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Wards Pond. Visit Weeks Brook since you're here at Wards Pond, and do stop at Round Pond, it's a striking lake.
Summertime highs at Wards Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Wards Pond. Go for a hike on the Province Brook Trail; a day on the slopes of Cranmore Mountain is just what you need.
