You're sure to come across some nice folks from Augusta-Waterville here; a stunning lake like Lily Bay is a delightful spot to stop at. The snow is great at Eaton Mountain, and you'll discover a wonderful lake       called Joe Pond. Ward Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. Why not camp at Great Pond Campground if you're here at Ward Pond, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cobbosseecontee Stream. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Civic Center, and the vista of Quaker Hill is pretty. This lake is so wonderful. Ward Pond is a good location of typical precipitation; November is when                  you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Ward Pond frequently tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Ward Pond through the winter usually descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
