In Maine there are many beautiful lakes, Walker Pond is one of them. Throughout the days of summer, highs usually are in the 70's at Walker Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Walker Pond. If you're here at Walker Pond, checking out Gull Ledges is a must; get yourself into a kayak and hit Goose Falls. If you come at the right time of year, Blue Hill Falls

| | offers some good whitewater, and hiking along the Old Cove Trail is tremendous fun. Walker Pond is right by the Blue Hill Trail, and you are in the neighborhood of Snow Cove since you're here. The amount of precipitation that falls at Walker Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Walker Pond, you could also visit nearby Black Pond. There's so much to do here at Walker Pond
that you need to camp here for a while, Robin Hood Camp is a wonderful place for that. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Caterpillar Mountain is easily made out from Walker Pond; Jerrys Meadow is a swamp next to Walker Pond. This
site is peerless, just look at all the fun things to do in the neighborhood of Walker Pond. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Sawyer Notch Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Billings Brook, and a splendid nearby
hotel is Best Western Fort Knox Inn. So much amusing stuff to do at Walker Pond, so little time. Walker Pond is not the only location nearby, Lily Pond is a nearby lake, and Walker Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sunshine Campground is a great local campground.
