The beauty of Virginia Lake is reason enough to stop by. There's no way someone can get bored here in the White Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Albany Mountain Trail, and a glorious close by hotel is The Victoria Inn. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Mount Abram, and why not camp at Crocker Pond Campground if you're here at Virginia Lake. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Virginia Lake through the wintertime regularly descend into the 0's. forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunday River if you're here, and do stop at Bartlett Brook if you're here at Virginia Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the White Mountains. Take a hike
on the Miles Notch Trail, and since you're here why not explore Albany Notch. The annual precipitation here at Virginia Lake is about average; August is when you get the most rain here while January is the month with the least amount
of precipitation. So much cool stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Wild River, and a lake close by is Bradley Pond.
