    Many people like to go to Upper Togue Pond. Soar down the rapids of Sandy Stream in a kayak, and why not camp at Roaring Brook Campground while you're here at Upper Togue Pond. This place, Upper Togue Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors exciting stuff. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Lower Togue Pond is a lake close by, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Abol Trail. From a precipitation point of view Upper Togue Pond is a  
   reasonably typical place; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February.
If you come at the right time of year, Nesowadnehunk Stream offers some pleasant whitewater, and hiking along the Dudley Trail is magnificent fun. Camping is available at Chimney Pond Campground, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pockwockamus Pond is just a very short distance away.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bangor here, and Katahdin Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the days of summer here at Upper Togue Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Upper Togue Pond temperatures plunge to the-10's. Going for a hike along the Cathedral Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; hey, Pockwockamus Stream is a great local stream.
