It's a delightful idea to stop by Pockwockamus Stream, it's close to Upper Togue Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Cranberry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Stream; you can                  go for a hike on the Cathedral Trail. Be careful coming to Upper Togue Pond, you might not ever want to return home again. If you came for an overnight stay Roaring Brook Campground is a wonderful spot to camp; going for a hike on the Abol Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Summertime highs at Upper Togue Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
