     The beauty of Upper Togue Pond attracts many people from all around. Summertime at Upper Togue Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Upper Togue Pond dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. From a rain point of view Upper Togue Pond is a relatively normal place; of all the months in a year July is  
   the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
While you're here at Upper Togue Pond you will meet lots of people from nearby Bangor, and a lake close by is Rum Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Nesowadnehunk Stream; Cranberry Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn, and going for a hike on the
 
               Abol Trail is always a great adventure.
Stay the night at Roaring Brook Campground; nearby you find the Dudley Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy Stream; there's some flowing water close by, Pockwockamus Stream is a stream you can check out while you're here. Now, you may believe that's lots but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Upper Togue Pond. Upper Togue Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Chimney Pond Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and there are nice places to look at along the Cathedral Trail.
